St. Charles Youth


 
 
 
“See YOU in YOUth Ministry”
 
Our large contingent of youth range from pre-school to University students and young adults.  Some on-going activities St. Charles has for youth include:
  • An active Religious Education program including First Communion and Confirmation
  • A special Children's Liturgy (3 - 5 years) during the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Mass
  • A children’s week-long summer camp program
  • Several community service activities for families to participate in
  • A birthday party for Jesus in December including a carnival
  • A youth library
  • Sponsorship for youth to attend Catholic camps within Manitoba
  • Weekend “Think Fast” retreats
We strongly believe that our youth should be active and highly visible members of the parish, involved in music, serving as altar servers, Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors.  Our youth are also involved in hospitality ministry, assisting in religious education and every parish activity.
 
On the third Friday of every month there are youth gatherings for youth in grade 2 and up.  An overnight retreat for the middle school youth is being planned.  If you would like to be involved in Youth Ministry contact Norbert 889-1101.
